The Eagle's Landing Touchdown Club is a non-profit organization committed to working with the administration and coaches of Eagle's Landing High and Middle schools, to support the Student-Athletes of the football programs.

Booster Club Meetings

Booster Club meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, in the Commons area of Eagles Landing High School.

Meeting opened by Gary Brantley at 6:30 pm.

Treasurers report: 

• Balance forward reflects $4,708.68, with no outstanding bills.
• Income received of $1351.50, including $531 (which we split with the cheerleaders) from the Car Wash.
• Membership earnings: $400; football pack: $180; drink sales: $40.50.

General report:

• We need all players’ families to join the Booster Club.  Individual parent memberships are $50; two parent memberships are $100; Individual Super Booster memberships are $200; Family Super Booster memberships are $250.  All payments can be made in two installments.  See Cindi Shaddix, Treasurer for details.
• If you know of a business, or if your employer is interested in purchasing a filed sign or program ad, please download the form from the site.  Your child will receive their Spirit pack free with all new field sign sales.
• Donna Brantley is in charge of Program Ads. They are available to any Football player, Cheerleader, Band Member or Cross Country member, and businesses.
• Picture Day for the team is August 16^th.
• Dr. José Alvarez will do physicals at the school on Tuesday, July 15^th at 2:00pm.  Cost is $25, and forms can be downloaded completed by players/parents before they arrive.  Forms will be available at the school during the physicals as well.
• Spirit Packs orders need to be placed ASAP.  Only spirit pack shirt ($10), shorts ($10), and girdles ($30) are required.  If possible, players should order the polo shirt to wear on game day ($32), as the coach does not want jerseys worn on game day.  Payments can be split into two payments.  See Cindi Shaddix (Dylan’s mom).

Coaches report:

• The County is going to board up all of the concession stands to combat vandalism and theft.  They will repair them and reopen them before the season starts.
• The Coaches and AD are redoing the football hallway and offices.
• We still want to have our Youth Football camp, and now have a NFL team member that will sponsor our football camp for next year – too late for this year.
• Our new uniforms have come in, and we are donating the old uniforms to Eagles Landing Middle School.
• We are going to try for a mini-camp for the players.  Anticipated cost is $25, which would include the shirt and shorts from the Spirit Pack.  If the kids do not pay, they would still be able to attend, but would not receive the Spirit Pack items.  Dates to be determined.
• Interest letters are starting to come in on our players.
• It was too late to petition for a concession stand at the varsity games, but we (football) are the only ones authorized to sell fundraising items during the football games.
• Our new Counselor, Mr. Harris, will be the official announcer at the games.
• Player testing day (speed, agility, etc) is July 30^th.
• We have been invited to participate in BJ’s Warehouse Back to School day on August 2^nd.
• “Big Earl” Parker will assist with our offensive line.
• Coach Booth from the Middle School will work with us, and our coaching staff will assist him with his team.
